LensTrail Nature Tours was founded in 2015 by working photographers who were tired of oversized tours that treated light like an afterthought. Twelve years, 3,800 photographers and 40+ destinations later, the idea has not changed: small groups, deep local knowledge, and being in position before the magic happens.

Small groups, always
Six photographers or fewer. Everyone gets clean compositions, real coaching and a place in the group conversation.
Guides who shoot
Our leaders publish, exhibit and teach. They are not tour operators who happen to own cameras — they are photographers who love to teach.
Leave no trace
We stay on trail, pack out everything, and never bait or chase wildlife. The wild places we photograph must outlast us.
Photographers first
We reschedule for weather at no charge, adapt to your pace and skill, and never sell gear we do not believe in.
Our promise
If the light does not show up, neither does your bill.
Weather is part of the craft — moody skies make great images — but if a session is genuinely cancelled by conditions, we reschedule at no charge or refund you in full. Night-sky workshops are always weather-rescheduled. That is how we have held a 4.9-star rating across 412 reviews.
